Rider's Edge® New Rider Course
This is a course designed to familiarize those not currently riding with the sport of motorcycling in a positive, challenging, and fun way. |

| The Rider's Edge® New Rider's Course uses a curriculum approved by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation®. The course consists of approximately 25 hours of instruction; about 9 hours of classroom and 16 hours of practice on a controlled range. You will ride a Buell® Blast® motorcycle (supplied by Bumpus Harley-Davidson), a completely street-worthy, 500cc motorcycle that has been approved by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation®. |

| Successful completion of the course will help you get your motorcycle license in Tennessee and some other states, as well as possible discounts on insurance. Members of H.O.G.® are eligible for a $50 reimbursement in the form of a coupon. All students will be given a 20% off coupon at the first class meeting to use in our store! |
Protection items that you must have with you in order to ride on the practice range include: -Helmet that meets DOT specifications
-Eye protection (O.S.H.A., Z-91 approved)
-Full-fingered gloves
-Long sleeved shirt or jacket & long pants
-Over-the-ankle shoes or boots with flat soles (preferably rubber)
-Appropriate raingear |
